  Really nice place for a drink or dinner, very cozy and good beer. 2 waitresses were not really friendly, but the waiter Olivier is great! We didn't get one of our ordered meals, but he definitely made up for it and was very understanding and nice. The live music was okay. When there was no live music they played the Beatles which was great! Food was great, especially the chicken wings. I can definitely recommend this place at least for a beer.

  A really nice bar. Serves good quality food. Good customer service. Wide open area but feels very cozy. Friendly staff too

  I rarely give 5 stars! The Oliver Plunkett deserves it. The only pub in Cork that plays authentic live traditional music 7 nights of the week. Music Options. For more modern music stay downstairs, for more traditional music and dancing, venture upstairs. The food was really good. A simple selection of genuine Irish dishes that are very well presented and taste amazing. You’ll not be dissatisfied with a visit to The Oliver Plunkett. Make sure to include it on your Itin when you visit Cork.

  The Oliver plunket is a great experience and it seems like it is popular amongst tourists and locals alike. They have a great bar, and the bartender was friendly and informative of local drinks. Even though we only ordered drinks they allowed us to sit in the dining area, but informed us we may have to move if they got busy for dining services. We got to hangout and watch the dancing and music, this was a wonderful experience. Too bad we weren't hungry or else would have ordered food which looked great!
