  Didn't actually go to the Hotel but to the pub next door, it is nice and a pint was €4. It is Dublin, so I will definetely be comig back.

  Good value for the money. Staff was friendly and helped us. Room was OK, but the beds was very soft and U shared. Me and my gal kept rolling towards the middle of the bed. The pub was great for pints, only €4. Quite for from central Dublin. Takes about 20-30min to walk to O'Connell street.

  Arrived at Portobello on 26th Feb for a 2 night stay as a party of 5. Due to the weather and courtesy of Ryanair we ended up staying 6 nights. The extra 4 were all thanks to Valentino and his team, without them we would have been out on the streets...... We can really cannot Thank you all enough, from the waitress's , barmen & women and housekeeping who did everything possible to make our stay hassle free. At the time when others are wandering Dublin streets with their luggage looking for a room they ensured we always had a roof over our heads. Also when others put the price up to take advantage of the situation Valentino did his best to keep the cost down. So we cannot recommend this hotel enough as our situation could have been so different. Portobello Hotel Dublin you are all FANTASTIC

  Amazing manager Paul.Fabulous friendly staff and passionate chef Slavo who cooks amazing food. Always a joy and feel so welcome to be at the Portobello.

  I have stayed in the Portobello Hotel many times, most recently on Friday night. I have always found the staff pleasant, efficient and courteous. The rooms are spotless. The food is very good and well priced. The Manager Paul, Marianne, Valentino, Mario, Con and other staff have always been great with us and have helped us every way they could. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Also its location is brilliant. Its only a tram or bus ride to the city centre or a stroll to nearby Rathmines.
