  The Riverside is a small, quaint café by the bridge in Thomastown. Sequestered away from the busy Market Street, the place offers a perfect spot to have a coffee, grab a sandwich and enjoy them peacefully. They have quite a number of options from paninis to desserts, all at very good prices too and if you can't see what you like on the menu, they'll happily mix and match to suit your desires. The owner is very pleasant and polite and a joy to be served by. They only accept cash payments however. This isn't too bad as there's a Bank of Ireland ATM about a minute away. I would highly recommend this café to anyone who is looking for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee and take a break from it all.
