  Terrible customer service, hidden fees, 1 hour+ wait time Wanted to share that I had a particular bad experience renting from the Dublin airport Thrifty. First off, be warned that if you forgo insurance because you have it on a credit card, they will charge you a 30 euro "administration" fee without telling you about it. This fee, in my case, was not included in the quoted price that I booked online. Second, I waited over a hour to rent the car and the line at the Thrifty was much longer than the line for any other car rental place. Third, when I complained about the administration fee because it was not in the quoted price, they took nearly two months to resolve my complaint and then denied it anyway. Terrible customer service, and hidden fees and ridiculous wait times - avoid this place.

  All aspects of our rental were great from the bus driver that picked us up, to the upgrade we received on check-in to the quick return process. We have used all the hire car companies at Dublin airport over the years and this was our best experience. Many thanks!
