  Be wary. We left our 2 dogs in this guys sister kennels in co Meath and they were beaten. We have the photos to prove it. They beat the dogs into being disciplined, this is their approach. Contacted Gardai but nothing could be done as there is no legislation to hold companies accountable. We would have to identify the individual(s) responsible but obviously didn't have evidence against an individual. Gardai looked into the training credentials suggested by the website and it was basically a 2 week course the owner attended. He was no longer part of association as suggested on their site. Don't take any chances if you love your dogs.

  The positive reviews here can be found elsewhere too, word for word. It's no coincidence everything is either five star or one star is? One set are genuine, one set... not. Work it out for yourselves.

  Great dog kennels, always look after my dog Bear who has been going here for last four years. I always leave him here when going away as it means I can relax knowing my dog is in responsible hands. I wouldn't pay much attention to the people leaving reviews who haven't left their dog here...also, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time

  I can totally recommend Topdog Training to any dog lover out there. We got our adored dog off Henry two years ago. I was terrified of all dogs but we needed a protection dog and thought we would check out this business having read a lot of great things about them online. Henry did us the greatest service by being able to match the dog to the owner so well. The first dog we met was too boisterous for me and I was not comfortable about committing to her though my husband would have been. Henry was so non pushy and encouraged us to take out time and think about it for a few days, He then explained that he had a quieter dog who was also a trained protection dog and offered to introduce us. It was love at first heel! Here was a dog that I didn't feel intimidated by and we have enjoyed her ever since. Our family has grown since then and she is dedicated to our baby and has never been in any way aggressive to her. . Our dog stays with Henry if we are away or travelling in the country - she has stayed over many times and it is such a pleasure to drop off a happy dog and collect a happier one. She absolutely loves the people who work there. I think Topdog Training is a very well run operation and the service and after care they provide is second to none. I have often contacted them with a query re our dog's diet etc and they are so helpful. I am also thrilled to have completely lost my fear of dogs through my 100% positive experience with Henry ( who taught me how to handle a dog ) and our own lovely girl.

  I really am delighted with the results from Topdog Training. I left my 9 year old terrier/collie x with Henry and Team for three weeks. I really sent him in desperation, I didnt know how to train him. Having been a dog owner all my life and just could not train this particular dog. I have had this dog for 9 years and have been to a behaviourist and trainers, all of whom advised me to train with my dog. None of this worked for us. In 3 weeks he has changed dramatically, and my understanding of what I need to do going forward is very clear to me. I received training when I collected Patches and we are both happier for the experience. It is so much more enjoyable walking with Patches now. I highly recommend topdog training, My only regret is that I didnt go there sooner. My dog was very well cared for. The atmosphere at Topdog is lovely. It was great to meet with Tony the trainer and the team and see just how happy Patches was. Also to see the great work they do with Disability dogs etc. • • •
