::Erica is most welcoming and friendly - nothing too much trouble. She's a 💎. Breakfast is great at the Wicklow Heather, as too is the steaks. The room we had was comfortable and the lodge its self is stunning - set in beautiful gardens and the views are breathtaking. Unlimited tea/coffee and good quality biscuits- wish they would put the hot chocolate back on though 😜. Stayed here 4 times now and just booked again. You need a car to get around, taxis are not common here. They will pick you up and drop you back to the restaurant anytime- so you can have a drink if you want.

::Stayed here for our honeymoon - the innkeeper was so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great - and all our meals at the Wicklow Heather were wonderful. We had a room with a private entrance - it was quite large with an extra bed. The bathroom was a bit small, but otherwise fine. Parking was included. Great location for a stop south of Dublin to see Powerscourt Gardens or Glendalough.
