    USE GALA INSTEAD! I booked a taxi for 5.05 a.m. and I was outside my door at around 5.07, and I saw the taxi driving in. I went to lock my door and fix a plant in front of my house, and I turned around and the taxi was gone! My phone was turned off because my friend said to turn it off overnight. So I turned on my phone and rang Gala, I said something like, "Why did you leave?" The dispatcher, who was the taxi driver himself, said I rang you 10 times, but your phone was off, so I left." No politeness. So I said, "Get a taxi down here!" which wasn't the most polite, but I was terribly frustrated as I was literally ringing the taxi driver at 5.15 a.m. and I had booked a taxi for 5.05! I would have rung him even sooner, but I had to turn on my mobile and find the number. He said, "Don't talk to me like that!" I was out there and ready by 5.10 am and had booked the taxi for 5.05. Anyway the new driver had an attitude too, and left me stranded, drove away, leaving me with 2 heavy bags and a rucksack around 5.20 a.m. on the Chapelizod Road! I could have been assaulted and robbed! There was no one on the road to rescue me. The new driver claims I was shouting at him, but his attitude from the start was hostile and aggressive. Of course I was upset, I had to get a 5.30 747 at Heuston station! The new driver had no understanding. Long story short, I rang GALA, had a cry in his taxi, I also cried ringing the taxi, and I ended up spending an extra 22 euros going to the airport instead of Heuston Station to get the 747. I will never use ASAP again! The GALA driver was easygoing and professional.

    Very poor, waited over an hour to be picked up, just kept being told 5 minutes. Never using them again

    Absolutely disgraceful service!! Have been a customer of gala cabs for a long time rang a cab and was told 30-40 minutes I waited for the cab and it never came I rang back Gala cabs to be told that my taxi had came and I did not come out??!!! I told the girl that the taxi did not come as I was waiting by the window and they then made an excuse that a taxi had not been paid that was ordered from my mobile number which is a lie!! I will never use Gala cabs again disgraceful customer service so rude!
