  They are so lovely. it's vintage look for whole building. If you are into some unique thing. This gonna be a good choice. They have cosy sofa with fire at night and in the morning, you can have a little chill with other fire in the dinning room. The owner is so so polite and so kind. Location is 5 mins on taxi to the main town. it costed us around 8 euro for 3 of us so it wasnt bad. 20 mins for walking. I am highly recommend this BnB. Decent prize and comfy zone.

  My wife and I stayed at Chaplins for the one night we were in Kilkenny. Situated about 1km out of town and 1.5km from the castle, we had onsite parking for our car and a lovely warm room to stay in. It's a gentle walk into town via a single, straight road so no chance of getting lost. Comfortable beds greeted us after a day and night of sightseeing. I had an early morning run at 8am. Chaplins to the castle, a lap around the castle wall , along canal walk and back to Chaplins is 6kms exactly, the perfect distance to shake off the night before. A nice , hot shower followed by a delicious , full Irish breakfast was exactly what I needed. Lovely hosts providing everything we needed to make our time in Kilkenny special.

  We had a one night stopover in Kilkenny and having booked at short notice were lucky to get such excellent accommodation. We were driving so the private parking was a big plus, and only a short walk into the sights / shopping / Castle / Medieval Mile etc. Unbelievably good breakfast - cereals, juices, fruits and a freshly made full Irish. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming we were sorry to leave.
