::Ellevyn was recommended to me from pilates instructor Michelle Given after experiencing pain and spasms in my back on the left side. Ellevyn took a comprehensive history from me including previous injuries and sporting background. She accurately assessed the injury to be a weak QL after observing movements and some exercises. She relieved the tightness through dry needling and demonstrated strengthening exercises with me to ensure I knew how to treat the issue myself. She also emailed me a copy of the exercises so there was no reason to forget or not do them! Happily, after 3 sessions over a 7 week period, I am back to excellent condition with a good knowledge on how to maintain my strength. I could not recommend Ellevyn highly enough, or the facility itself which is well equipped and has a highly approachable and knowledgeable staff.
