  Commuter trains are very noisy. Dart is quieter but on Sundays arrives only every 30 minutes.

  Great Train Station in Dun Laoghaire with good Bus Connections to Other Places Across The SouthSide Of The City. The Train Station has a Good Train Service depending on when your travelling.Rush Hour train sometimes terminate here at the secret platform.The station has good facilities with coffee shops ticket offices and ticket machines. The station doesn't really fit in with the surroundings of the station. The old station building is still evident at the end of the Southbound and you can see the old building now a restaurant just outside the station. The station first opened in 1834 by the Dublin&Kingstown Railway. The line was later extended through a tunnel on to Bray. The station didn't go under much refurbishment until 1983 when the DART was built and a new footbridge and upgraded station facilities were added. Then in the 1990s the original station building was closed and a new one was built to what we have today.

  One of the best places near Dublin with very beautiful view of the Irish sea. You can get there by bus or train and do not need a lot of money to spend a little holiday.
