  Got an Evonic electric fire fitted recently by Hearth and Home and was delighted with the work done.They removed my fireplace and installed the electric fire and then plastered the whole chimney breast.Really happy with the finished look.The fitter even hoovered the floor before he left. Would recommend Hearth and Home to my family and friends.

  Recently had my fireplace changed and after checking in a number of fireplace showroom I decided to buy from Hearth and Home. I found them to be very very helpful and reasonably priced. From the showroom staff to the installers they were all so helpful and knowledgeable they done all they could to help in in choosing the Fireplace and stove. Kevin and his team who installed the fireplace and stove were so clean and tidy while they worked leaving the room spotless when they were done. I would highly recommend Hearth and Home to anyone buying a fireplace or stove.

  Disaster to deal with.Fitted the wrong stove.Refused to return phone call or emails .Brushed off with 'he'll ring you back'..quick to take your money but absolutely no back up ..avoid at all costs

  As someone who works in retail I'm ashamed of the staff in hearth and home. We had a bad experience from start to finish. We dealt with three separate people from start to finish over multiple visits trying to buy our fire. After having to do our own research we purchased a fire from their catalogue. It supposedly came in multiple colours yet they had no pictures of these other colours. We decided on beige and took the €1800 risk hoping that we would like it. We were told it would take two weeks maximum to be delivered. It arrived to store four weeks later. We rang a few times and were told we'd get a phone call as soon as it arrived. This phone call never came. We phoned one day after 4pm one day only to be told: 'oh yeah, I was just about to call you... it arrived last night'. This is more than 6 hours after the shop opened! Then when I got the fire home and opened the box it was not beige... it was white! I phoned the shop (Saturday 28th Oct) only to be met with indifferent attitude and told that he'd have to ask the suppliers on Tuesday and ring me back. Today is the 6th of Nov and we still haven't had a call. I've never been so dissatisfied with spending €1800 in my life, nor has it ever been so difficult. Avoid this place unless you are absolutely desperate!

  Good selection of fireplaces
