  A wonderful spot just a few minutes from the town centre. We came up to Carlingford to meet up with and spend time with our family: this was the perfect spot to do so. Declan was very hospitable and welcoming; we were made to feel comfortable as though the house was our own. The place is clean, spacious and has a great feel to it. Would definitely recommend!

  I arrived in Carlingford early evening towards the end of August after a long day of cycling from Belfast. I cannot say enough about how lovely it was to spend a night at the Heritage Cottage; I was was welcomed, well-fed, and well-rested by the time I left. Carlingford is a place I will certainly return to for it's rich culture and kind people, and staying at a really lovely B&B close to town allowed for easy access to all the city has to offer. If you are looking for an accommodating and authentic Irish experience, a stay at the Heritage Cottage is the way to go.

  Stayed in Heritage Cottage this weekend for a family get-together. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend this for large group bookings. 20 of us stayed in the cottage with age range from teenagers to older adults. The house is lovely, clean and spacious. Perfectly located within short walking distance to the village restaurants and shops. The beds are comfortable and well laid out. The hotel across the road was perfect for those who wanted a full breakfast and got to watch the rugby on Saturday morning. We did predominantly self catering and the house was well designed to cater for this large group. There is so much to do in Carlingford. Declan was very helpful with everything we wanted and made our stay comfortable and stress free. We will definitely be back to Heritage Cottage for a repeat stay.
