::I used to go to Sandyford House quite often to watch a match and have a few drinks. Whilst the refit and upgrade look great, as a venue to watch sport and socialise this is not really suitable. No sound from the tv's and constant music playing over everything. I don't know any other pub where you walk in and are greeted with a sign telling you 'Please wait to be seated'. The food is good if a little on the pricey side for gastropub fare. It's a bit of a case of a pub that thinks it's a restaurant and the experience falls somewhere in between. Surely there is room in premises of this size to cater for both the customer looking for food and for someone looking to take in some sport and have a few drinks.

::Good food at average prices. A great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

::Now under new management, it's all change at the Sandyford House. The interior decor is now done in antique brick with lots of little booths, and low lighting. The food is excellent, but be prepared to part way with a few quid for the privilege. The expense is the only thing holding it back from a 5-star experience.

::Great food great service lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff but the Gents toilets lets the Pub down! Wet floor, smell of urine was disgusting. Needs special attention...soon!!!
