  I have been at The Grasshopper several times now and it's a great place. Food is very good from the menu and when carvery is served. It can be a fairly busy place in late afternoon but that only proofs that the place is really nice. Steak on the stone is absolutely great I highly recommend it.

  One of my favourite pubs, the Grasshopper is a great, cozy bar and lounge with a wide variety of draught beers but, more importantly, a great pint of Guinness. The last of five pubs still open in Clonee, it has a warm atmosphere. There is live music most weekends but if you prefer a quiet pint and a conversation, there is plenty of scope for that too. There are televisions but they are not intrusive and sometimes the ones in the lounge are turned off. They also serve great food.

  We went to the events area for a 21st and it was lovely, had a nice outdoor deck and friendly bar staff. Nice and clean toilets too.

  Decent pub. Carvery lunch was nice, barstaff need to pay more attention.

  Good local pub. They do very nice steak on stone! Just make sure to take a table close to fireplace during winter time visits!
