This restaurant served one of the best steaks I've ever had in Dublin city. The place is clean and pleasant, and the staff are courteous and friendly. Its location on the canal is absolutely beautiful - it would be the perfect place to eat on a sunny day, admiring the barges passing by. If you were in the mood, you could also walk the entire way from here to Dublin city centre along the canals; a long walk, to be sure, but a beautiful one.

Great location and great design/ decor. the food is mostly processed and the healthy options that were on the menu previously have been removed such as salads/ Greek/ Super etc. lunch options could be improved- more variety. Great potential not being realised.

Lovely venue. Good parking. Nice staff. Menu limited and food quality not great. Stick to simple coffee and snacks. Lovely on a Summer's day.

Great job on the refurbishment with new owners. Complete with a roofed outdoor area and also picnic style outdoor seating too for the rare days of sun in Ireland - also an ice cream hut. Food is excellent and good value. Service is now excellent. Bathrooms are spotless. Bar looks great and canal boats complete the look along the canal bank which can all be viewed from the restaurant. Bags of free parking.

One of my favourite local place to go, especially when the weather is nice. It's such a great spot along the canal with a big terrace garden. really ideal. The prices of some drinks are not cheap but given it has been renovated recently, that can be understood they need asap to make it profitable even if there is no doubt it is by now. 4 Stars, not 5 as despite being a pub, socialization is not present. You'd better not go to this place alone as nobody would chat to you excepted the staff who is really friendly. Food-wise, it leaves the feeling they're still probing with different dishes. The food is good but not impressive either. Better come by drinking :-P
