  These guys really looked after us for a funeral. Above and beyond what's usually expected. I like they way the bars are laid out since it was renovated.

  It's a really nice place. My first time was 5 years ago. Living 20 minutes away from it, it's really handy place as it's the only one closing late at night around until 2.30AM on Saturday. Large choice of drinks and the prices are quite attractive. I use to have good fun in this place coming by on my own and make new friends and contacts in the smoking area or nearby the bands stage. I went back since as it was many closed/reopened at some stage. It did change quite a lot inside. It looks nicer and I reckon it is different type of people frequenting the pub by now. I would tend to say it is a more friendly place by now but social-wise I'm afraid it's sadly a bit different. People tend to stay just in clan between friends. I miss the old days where people get more chatty with absolutlely anybody around. Indeed there is no longer a pool table. That's a bit of shame for that part as I think it was helping a bit the social part too. The band last week was really good. I shall come back more often on Saturday night. Overall it's a nice place and I enjoy coming in from to time to on Saturday evening :-) Ah c'mon let's do it. See you tonight everyone ha ha ! ^^ R.
