  Good food, lovely private room for a family occasion. Staff were brilliant. Attentive without being too much.

  Friendly, old world atmosphere makes this house an enjoyable stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful and courteous.

  Absoloutely excellent! Anna nade sure the hotel delivered 100% on our booking specual request for a quiet room. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Location is very private yet so close to Waterford City. Food was top class and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

  We had a really mixed experience. The reception was so warm and welcoming and the building and grounds have so much character. The staff we met were friendly and keen to ensure our needs were met. Our experience the next morning wasn't great though. The continental breakfast was nice with fresh fruit and a modest but appetising selection of cereals and breads. The hot breakfast though was slow, really slow. We ordered scrambled eggs which don't take long. We gave up after 25 minutes or so and cancelled our order. We weren't the only people who complained and it seems that an RTE film crew surfaced with their cameras and all attention diverted from the other customers which is a shame as it left a really sour taste (and an emptier stomach). A shame really
