A truly magical place. We enjoyed our stay immensely - our room, the views, the trails, the kindness of those who work there were all perfect. Both restaurants serve delicious meals supplemented by their own garden. There’s nothing like walking the garden and then recognizing the produce on your plate. It’s also a fantastic home base for exploring the Connemara. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip.

Beautiful castle with nice surroundings. A nice walk through the forest and by a lake, and a very nice restaurant. They serve a pecan pie that cannot be missed!

Impeccable service, fantastic food and wine. We had a table overlooking the river on a beautiful sunset evening. A night to savour and remember.

One of the most beautiful places to go to. Very peaceful, relaxing, scenic paths to walk around the area. The mountains and lakes are absolutely breath taking. The rooms are spacious, beds are so comfortable, housekeeping is awesome. The staff are so welcoming and will help you anyway they can. They have fly-fishing classes for those who are interested. Our room faced the river, such a beautiful view. They have their own restaurant and the food is beautifully served and is delicious. They serve breakfast with a breakfast bar and you can order cooked if you wish, and that was included with our room. When visiting Ireland Ballynahinch Castle is a must!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!

Beautiful place to stay. Give yourself lots of time to get and stay there. Plan on staying for food as well as its pretty remote. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the grounds are great to explore. The rooms are amazing. Even found some piggy friends on our walk.
