I'm a Corkonian, and am tired of Blarney Woollen Mills pandering to the Americans. I grew up visiting the Mills, when it was a caravan selling wool at his back of one square. My sister, an innovative and talented knitter, always bought her wool there..and knitted all our sweaters. Now it's what they think the tourists want. Supply and demand. Waterford Glass no longer provide hand crafted glassware...only the larger pieces All the small pieces of crystal are imported from Poland and middle eastern countries and sold as Waterford Crystal.

Lovely cafe with plenty of choice. However the cost of woollens is very expensive. Nice to look at but you do need a deep purse to purchase.

In January ordered an Irish made linen table runner as a gift. The item arrived safely in Australia well within the time frame quoted, especially since Australia Post delivery is gradually deteriorating. I also got a Waterford Crystal delivery from them recently on behalf of a relative. I have never seen anything so well packed in my life, ever. I have bought goods there over many years as from Cork originally. But I also visit there when I go back to Cork on holidays to visit my family. The service is always great.

Fantastic shop with Irish woollen products. Huge selection of styles some of which I have not seen anywhere else. If you want to bring a nice woollen sweater from Ireland then do not miss this place.

Brilliant Blarney we love this place well worth a day out. Easy to get to from Cork on the bus, if you don't want to drive. Woollen Mills a joy to visit, great selection of goods to buy. You couldn't go hungry here !! what a great choice of food.
