  It was a nice and quiet stay. Our cab driver told us that there was a shooting that took place the week prior to us staying there. They recently underwent a new name change and New Management, I'm assuming it has something to do with the shooting. But had our cab driver never mention that we would have never known. Still learning experience. Nothing negative to say.

  This place is a disaster! The relatively upbeat reviews have me wondering if I stayed at the same place! There was obvious water damage in my room. One of the lifts shudders so ominously when it is reaching its floor that I always waited for the other one. In the morning there was a bucket in the hall catching water from the ceiling. The shower simply stopped 3 times during my shower and then electrified me with ice cold water when it decided to start back up. The "walls" are paper thin--I've never been in a hotel where I could here my neighbor farting until last night (they were admittedly letting it rip, but still.) It gets 2 stars because the pool is quite nice and I didn't die, but this place needs a wreck and rebuild. I paid $140 USD, and it was about $100 too much.

  Spent a week. Nice bar. Delicious food at their in house restaurant. Service at their restaurant was impeccable. Room was clean and tidy. Only amenities in room was a TV, electric hot water pot to make tea or instant coffee. There were bugs in the bathroom floor every night. Otherwise, was adequate to come back to after a day of traveling around the countryside.

  Whilst at this hotel it was undergoing renovations which it really did need as it is very dated and even had water leaks in the ceiling of a hallway. One of the maintenance crew was kind enough to let himself into my room whilst I was asleep to tell me that he was fixing something. I also ventured down to the bar on a couple of occasions the first time there was no bar staff for 15 minutes whilst me and other patrons were waiting. It may have been longer but a left the second time I ordered a drink and sat at a table but was told I had to leave as I wasn't eating food, with no offer of a menu. Apart from that the rooms were clean the reception staff were helpful. I heard the gym and spa were nice too but I did not have time to visit.
