  My partner purchased shoes here which cut him to ribbons within 2 hours of wear. I brought the shoes back to the store, with the receipt and box. I was left to sit for 20 minutes for the store manager, who refused to give any refund, repair or store credit. I informed her of the sale of goods and supply of services act. She still refused to give any repair, refund, or store credit. When asked to put that in writing, she raised her voice and said she 'refused to be intimidated by the likes of you'. She was rude to the point of aggressive, (ie. standing over me, throwing the box at my feet) despite the store being full of small children trying on school shoes with their parents. Having worked in retail myself for several years I was shocked at this treatment and lack of customer service. I will never buy anything here again, and neither will anyone I know. Stay well clear of this particular branch of Clarks.
