::Fabulous site. Great for history lovers young and old.

::We enjoyed the guided tour, even though the introduction repeated much of the information that the introductory video conveyed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Good facilities. We luckily caught a day of beautiful weather, with lots of sunshine, so we thoroughly enjoyed the monuments, ruins, strolling around on the grass, the views of the river...

::A magnificent early Christian site on the banks of the River Shannon. The OPW manges the site and has done an excellent job in terms of the set up and the facilities. The children loved it (especially the whispering!) A very enjoyable visit!

::Very cool place to see, they have an intro video that talks about the history of the site. The visitor guide was 0.50€ extra, which they should just include in the cost of admission. It would have been helpful to have a guided tour and point out some of the notable tombstones and more information about the buildings.
