  Ordered pizza with pepperoni and I got what in Italy are called "wuster" (brats). Not spicy at all, and smaller (and cheaper). 10.5 euro for an 8inch 2 toppings (one was falsely advertised, as mentioned), is a rip-off. Authentic Italian? Can't even spell the names of the ingredients right! (Scamorza with double Z? Ndjua instead of nduja?) Wasn't the worst pizza ever had, but heck, in Italy for 10 bucks I have two bigger, tastier pizza. In Maynooth, other pizza joints can do the same for less, try around!

  Nice food and friendly waiters. The variety of dishes they offer is quite large and from what I can tell it is all freshly prepared which can lead to a bit of a wait between courses.

  Fantastic traditional, family run, genuine Italian. Nice casual atmosphere and delicious food.

  My partner and I went to Donatello's for a meal recently and I have to say the service was excellent. The waiter was so helpful and friendly, which really made a difference. There was a slight issue with some chicken wings we ordered, as they were a little on the cool side, but once we informed the waiter, they were whisked off to the kitchen and came back perfect! For mains, I had spaghetti bolognese which was beautiful, and my partner had a calzone, also gorgeous! We will definitely be back!
