::Last year I was experiencing pain in my right knee. I work in construction so I'm on my feet constantly, up and down ladders and walking on rough, uneven surfaces. My knee was so bad I was out of work for three months. A friend suggested I try Foot Solutions. I booked an appointment to have a foot assessment. I have to say that the staff were very helpful. Caroline, the girl who I had the consultation with, explained that my feet were not being supported fully and as a result my right arch was falling inwards. This was putting extra pressure on my already sore knee. She recommended customised arch supports. I went with her advice and ordered my supports. Within three weeks I was able to collect them and have them fitted to my work boots. They felt strange at first and I had to break them in gradually. The more I wore them I found that the pressure on my knee was getting less and less. Now I don't go to work without my arch supports. I still get the odd twinge every now and then but its nothing like the discomfort I had before. I would definitely recommend anyone with foot pain to visit Foot Solutions. The assessment is free and the girls are very knowledgeable and helpful.
