::What an amazing Hotel, one of those quaint , private, special places that I had never heard of. My husband booked it for my birthday surprise. It is beautiful , rooms huge food is amazing. Quaint little village with traditional music at its core. Great weekend will return. Joan

::The drive up to the was beautiful! The castle need serious renovations. There are no elevators, check-in was awkward but pleasant. We carried overnight bags up to our cold room and left luggages in our rental vehicle. We didn't want to carry them up several flights of stairs. NO ELEVATORS! We did explore briefly, it is a castle and quite eerie at night. The food was fresh and delicious. The scenery was breathtaking.

::Stayed there a few weeks ago for a 2 night stay,. Fabulous staff (specially the 2 Ann's & Shane. Super entertainment in the Dungeon bar. Restaurant amazing. Only complaint rooms have paper thin walls! We did move rooms however not much better.. select your room carefully.

::I want to be positive. The staff were generally very nice. But no tea coffee making facilities, no tv ,cracked windows,no curtain on clear bathroom window in clear line of shower, below average breakfast, €6.50 pint of beer (more expensive than Dublin)cold bed rooms. But the bed was really very comfortable. My wife says the decor was very bad. I would not recommend it.

::This is a review for those who want to use it as an event venue. A fantastic venue with beautiful views, polite staff and the food was some of the best I have had at a wedding. If you want to have your wedding in a place that makes you feel like royalty then this is the choice for you. The fact that there are multiple bars and they all have their own unique character is a great little bonus. The only downside is I think that it might not be 100% wheelchair friendly but when you consider that it is a castle which has been around for a while then you can see why this might be the case. I did not stay overnight due to the rooms being expensive so I am not able to comment on that part of the business.
