Top-notch. This is my first choice of restaurants in Cork. The menu changes regularly but I have no hesitation in trying out new things on the menu - the flavours are finely balanced, the portions are generous and I don't think I know of anywhere else in Cork that provides such excellent food at this price point.

In cork on a business trip. Had a walk around & found market lane. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait for a table. Well worth the short wait. The food was fantastic & the service was even better. Kelly who served us was attentive and on the ball. Well done Kelly, Thankyou.

Without doubt this is the best restaurant in Cork. The menu is top notch and it is always a difficult choice. The steak and game pie are amazing. It changes up every now and again so it's worth repeated visits. Save room for the chocolate cup for dessert!

Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday when visiting Cork. It was lovely. I had one of he best salads I have ever eaten. Roasted zucchini, peppers, eggplant and goat cheese. Loved it! The onion soup was good, but different than what I am used to. It was not that heavy, which was good.

My biggest issue here is that you can't book a table ahead of time, yet they have someone manning the door taking names of potential diners who they then send off to the nearest pub to wait for an hour or so. (Sometimes the Gods will allow you to actually sit at the bar in the restaurant itself, but as I say they Gods need to be well pleased before your ass can grace one of those bar stools!) If you are lucky enough and honoured to get a table then I think you will be pleased with the food offering. A very good menu and depending on the chef in charge, the food can be very tasty. Staff are run off their feet at weekends, and in fairness some of them handle that very well and have pretty good levels of customer service skill.
