  They're never there and even when the car is outside they won't answer the door. The Census of 2016 lists Maynooth as having 15,905 residents (excl. students) and states that at that number it is statistically the 35th largest village in Ireland. That statistic is outside of the academic year. This is a large town with a major university - 13,760 students and 1000 staff. Throw them into the mix and during term we have a population close to 30,000 with a police station that never opens. They'll send you to Leixlip or Naas. It's bloody ridiculous and the Dept of Justice should be ashamed of themselves.
