::Genuinely feel like this bike shop scammed me. Gave me a price for a new tire for my bike, and what i assumed was tge cost to install it. agreed on it and told them to go ahead and put it on. Then they told me if I pay by card they have to charge me 25% more for VAT, which apparently would not be necessary if I paid in cash. When I came back with cash 10 minutes later to collect my bike they told me that I actually had to pay for the tube and installation as well as the tire which ended up being more than the 25% VAT for the use of the card! Pretty irritating.
