  Great little store. As the name suggests, it's a horse and country themed gift store, but it really is a little treasure trove full of quirky items. The stock is by and large good quality and well designed which might account for it being a little more expensive than some other gift stores which tend to pander to the mass tourist market.

  Quaint gift shop near the castle and the river. Gift selection was good for the store's size. Merchandise was pretty overpriced and the lady working didn't acknowledge my wife or me while we were shopping, even though we were the only ones in the store.

  Visiting Kilkenny a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to stumble upon The Gift Horse, bought lots of wonderful gifts here and lots of things for me too. Lovely items and well worth a visit, Donkey slippers a real winner..
