  Lovely room, perfect for family parties, great live music, only negative was absence of card machine and necessity for cash

  Not very good for buggys or wheelchairs. took 45 mins for 3 bowls of chips in an empty bar. bit dull and lifeless. cool stairs, pavillions is across the road and theres alcohol. that's about it

  Good local bar. The upstairs bar is in a traditional style and serves a good selection of mainstream draft beers. The newer downstairs Well Bar is nicely designed and on a summers evening the beer garden is a magnet for sun worshippers. There is a function room on the first floor which is ideal for any and all private occasions.

  I was at a christening yesterday in the let mayors and the staff were lovely food could have been a bit better.
