::Fabulous mix of old world charm and modern facilities. Having stayed in the hotel in the past, and regularly attended events there, I can say the staff are friendly, polite and helpful, the food is excellent (I personally enjoy the pasta and fish dishes, but I know the Hardy Burger is extremely popular) and the hotel works hard to create a truly enjoyable atmosphere. The lobby is very comfortable, ideal for afternoon teas and the like, with an additional seating area near the coffee bar. The Bar & Restaurant area is spacious enough to allow one to enjoy a meal is peace and privacy. In terms of location, the hotel is 1 minutes' walk from the main street and all the local shops and amenities. Equally nearby, you have the Maritime Museum, the People's Park, plenty of scenic walks, the DART station for hassle-free travel into Dublin's City Centre or elsewhere. There's also a large Antiques & Vintage Fair hosted in hotel every two months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) and plenty to see and do in the local area.

::Great place to stay! The hotel is very close to so many things, Friendly staff, free wifi and Hardy's Bar is connected right to it. What more can I say about this place. If your coming to Ireland I believe you'll be happy with it too.

::When I went to Ireland for 2 weeks we stayed in he royal marine in room 355, which is a special suite. When I was leaving Ireland we asked to stay in this room again as we were coming back for two more nights. Unfortunately we got a small room, with no space for our family. It had a great view and was fine, but the sleeping arrangements were not good for our family of 5. We called the service desk and they were very helpful, and moved us into our original room of 355 with no fuss. I really recommend this place as the breakfast was fantastic and there were parks and museums nearby to occupy the kids. The pool, although a little chilly was fine and nice for the kids to play in as well. There was a great pizza place close by that was great for dinner, and an excellent ice-cream place nearby for those all important desserts. I rate this place 5 stars! I love it!

::Had been "placed" at the Hotel due to storm Emma. I Would like to thank esp all reception staff who Had been Most helpful and still friendly and welcoming, although they probably heard the same questions a thousand times. Probably would have enjoyed the stay under different circumstances. And the bed was exceptionally comfy.

::A very classy, comfortable hotel to stay in. The staff was utmost friendly and always helpful, the rooms are beautiful, clean and well kept. The bed was amazing. The train is just around the corner so getting around is super easy, and there are shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants galore. A perfect place to stay.
