Prepare to walk up four flights of stairs to get to your room. Prepare to have non-functional toilets. Prepare to have cigarette smoke from neighboring rooms. Prepare for clogged shower drains. Prepare for dated and worn out rooms. Prepare for front desk staff who can't make a restaurant recommendation. However, the location is fantastic-- just pick one of the many, many other hotels in this area.

Great friendly staff! Lovely suites. Right on top of a strip of great bars and within walking distance of the city center

Very charming rooms of a good size, and the beds are comfy. We got both a coffee maker and a tea kettle, which is nice. Bathroom was a good size as well, water was hot and the water pressure was beyond anything I've experienced in a hotel. However the breakfast is very basic, and you may experience some party noises from the bar downstairs.

Stayed for 1 night B&B, hotel staff were very pleasant on check in and our room was nice, however the whole experience was really let down by the breakfast. For a hotel which claims to be 4 star I have no problem with a continental breakfast but, would expect to at least be able to get a decent cup of tea/coffee at breakfast and not to have to serve ourselves from sachets of instant coffee and teabags on a string. The selection of food available was also pretty poor, there were breads and pastries (which weren't particularly fresh) some cereal in boxes and 3 lonely looking natural yoghurts beside a basket of fruit which had quite frankly seen better days so breakfast wasn't really worth getting out of bed for. To sum up nice hotel, great location, shame about the breakfast, didn't feel like a 4 star experience to us.
