Had a really poor experience here, don't like judging a place on one trip but was treated so poorly here due to a mistake on their behalf that I wouldn't waste money returning to give it a second chance.

Worst pedicure with gel nails ever!! I had booked a 2 week Essie pedicure for a treat as my old salon in town had stopped offering pedicures, but it was a huge mistake! When I first arrived I was given water in a dirty glass with someone else's lipstick all round the rim & wasn't offered anything to read or even a colour chart to choose my next colour, but I let it go. There was no massage, no skin work or moisturiser/oil applied..I wasn't even allowed to put my feet in the water until I asked at the very end as my skin around my toe nails was all grazed and bleeding from the heavy handed filing and was stinging like mad with the nail polish remover applied-most painful pedi ever!! :( The therapist was constantly checking her watch during the treatment too and so I felt totally on edge, like I was holding her up. Worst of all, despite numerous applications of questionable (?out of date) Essie polish (that was pretty much just slapped on with little consultation on colour etc) the results are just awful!! Smudged, dull, uneven with gaps all around the edges as it wouldn't set at all under the light and so when the nail polish remover was applied to tidy at the end, it all started to wipe off!! I honestly could've done a better job myself at home, rather than wasting 90 minutes and going through quite severe pain with the skin grazing! So disappointing! Even the manager agreed it was a total mess with no shine to it at all. At the end I asked to wash my feet to try to reduce the stinging from the grazing and wasn't even offered a towel! I was left with dripping wet feet for >10 minutes and so had to use my own scarf to dry them in the end as I was getting cold sitting with wet feet waiting for so long. In fairness the did offer to re-do the whole thing from scratch but after 90minutes of sitting in the one spot I was just too sore, tired and had pins and needles in my legs+feet & so couldn't even contemplate the thought..will just fix it later myself at home (should be easy to take off 'gel' nails with regular nail varnish remover which will be a first!) and find a new salon! Total rip off..I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
