I agree with the comments about the very limited and expensive range of food that is available in the little café. I also think that the privacy, cosiness, comfort, space and number and quality of tables and chairs could definitely be improved. As both a regular patient myself and daughter of a lady who has been a regular inpatient and outpatient in the hospital, it would be lovely to see an improvement in the general ambience and the quality and range of food choices available. In saying that, I must say that all of the staff who work in the café are generally extremely professional, friendly and helpful. 😀👍

Fine facility. Fast friendly service. Refreshments available. However, not signposted well until you are nearly in sight of the building. There is a sign at the Breastcheck Clinic for the hospital, but no arrow to indicate which way to go. Coffee dock and restaurant available on ground floor. I only have one issue here. The staff in the Coffee Dock are too slow to clear tables. There were six available tables there this morning at ten o clock. Five of them were full of leftovers from previous customers. Other customers had to clear the tables before they could sit down and eat. A nice addition would be guest Wi-Fi (free).

Great place, very simple but very clean and nice staff. Way too high parking and restaurant prices!

I am so surprised about exceptionally high food/drinks prices and parking prices at the hospital. Why government not regulating things like this?People are forced to spend time on hospital territory due to different and sad circumstances and to make profit on it at least is disgraceful. Although have come across staff being professional and helpful. But was forced to wait in A&E for 12 hours!!!!

Poor care if you're old and don't make a nuisance of yourself. My mother-in-law had an accident with her stoma bag today and the nurse who came to help her was seen by us leaving the room sighing and tutting. So sad that a lady of 82 with terminal cancer was in tears when we returned to the room because she felt she was somehow at fault for this accident. Which might not have happened had somebody checked on her in the one and half hours before I noticed it while I was making her comfortable. The atmosphere in this hospital leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully she is moving to hospice soon where the care will be exemplary. The care in St.Vincents costs a lot but you can't buy kindness. My husband was so upset leaving today and she begged us not to leave which has never happened before.
