  They don't do cash transactions after 3oclock close when they are supposed to be open come in on a sat morning and told you can't transfer your saving to another account seriously what's the function of this bank this is why the elderly stick thier cash in the mattress

  Management sit around while there's a queue out the door and one person on the cash desk. No wonder retail banks are going to hell. I get that bureaucracy and making this experience as painful as possible for customers is the goal, so that more people will use online banking. But it's 2017. We know what the internet is. We wouldn't be queuing up like cattle if we could avoid it. How hard is it to open another window and take a baby step towards reducing customer ire? What contempt the banks must have for us plebs to warrant what can only be described as the worst possible retail experience imaginable. I guess that unless you have a mortgage with the bank, you're just an unpleasant condition of business. I really wish they wouldn't pretend like we matter.
