  NOTHING BUT A BAIT-AND-SWITCH SCHEME: Attract customers by offering low prices then switch them once you have the customer on-site with no real alternative but to pay the extortionate rate for no-deductible insurance. Of course they do not disclose the rates for full cover at booking nor is it possible to even add it while making the reservation. Once they've locked you in with an artificially low price, they will hard-sell full cover at 8 times the cost of the rental. Declining full cover will result in them holding hostage 1500€ for 15 WORKING DAYS, not to mention charging upfront for a full tank of fuel, which will only be refunded 7 WORKING DAYS after returning the vehicle. None of this is mentioned by their agents during the contract signing process nor is it published on their website, of course. The hold and fuel charge post immediately to the credit card, so there is no technical reason why the refunds can't also be made with immediate effect once the vehicle has been returned. Clearly a company with such tactics won't be surprised to know they won't be getting any repeat business; so long as there is a fresh supply of unknowing victims the scheme can continue.

  This again is about the whole experience. Again on picking up were told had 2 hours to bring back the car, although we knew that this is not the case at returns another couple were told they were over the hour late, please tell your counter staff to not tell customers they have 2 hours. Overall was a good experience, we upgraded in the airport but when we got to pick the car up it was a 3 year old wreck that looked worse than my 9 year old fiat at home so we did not take it and the upgrade was refunded on return. My only gripes are I wanted share the driving of the car for a couple of days not the whole duration I had my licence and the DVLA sharing code but was told I had to go into a budget on everyday I wanted to drive so I did not bother, even Hertz let me do this in the past I just had to name the days I wanted to drive, I was not going to make a special journey everyday so I did not bother and left it to my husband and saved the money. Lastly your buses take forever wasted so much time waiting in the cold and rain to and from the airport. But I would return to budget again as the overall experience outweighed the negatives.

  Charges are outrageous. Only accepted payment through Visa card. Had to increase limit to 1500 to cover deposit. Then went to collect car and was told had to put 90 Euro on card to cover if you didn't fill up car. Firstly is told 40 Euro to fill car so why charge that. Couldn't increase credit again so had to transfer money to my credit account to cover that cost. Will never be renting cars again.
